Requirements

There are some prerequisites which have to be met in order to be able to install kube+:

• Your Kubernetes needs ...

  • a minimum Kubernetes version of 1.24

  • for a minimized kube+ installation: 3 Nodes with each 2 CPUS and 4GB RAM

  • for a full kube+ installation: 3 Nodes with each 4 CPUS and 8 GB RAM

  • to support services of type LoadBalancer - if there is no LoadBalancer available, you could try to make it work with metallb (opens new window)

  • to support PersistentVolumes / PersistentVolumeClaims

• Internet connectivity

  • egress is always required
  • ingress is only required if lets-encrypt is used
